The MRF Latin America and the Caribbean
is a sub-section of the Mineral Resources Forum (MRF) that
focuses specifically on mineral resource and mining issues
in the region. These issues may be related to development,
social, environmental, small-scale mining, trade, foreign
direct investment (FDI) as well as host of others.
Some of
these issues are examined in further detail, and a global
perspective, in other sections of the MRF.
The Mineral Policy Research
Initiative (MPRI) website offers another extensive source
of information on this region.
