National Mining Association
The NMA represents coal, metal and mineral mining, processing, transportation, suppliers, financial, engineering and other businesses related to the mining industry. One of their key objectives is the promoting the production and use of mineral resources.

Society for Mining, Metallurgy and Exploration (SME)
SME is an international society of professionals in the minerals industry with more than 13,000 members in nearly 100 countries. The Society is organized into five distinct divisions - coal, environmental, industrial minerals, mineral and metallurgical processing, and mining and exploration.
