The Institute for Geo-Resources and Environment is a Japanese research
institute that conducts fieldwork and research on the planning and evaluation
of exploration and the development and utilization of underground resources
such as geothermal, fuel, and mineral resources. A recent project in the
mineral resources area is the 'Interdisciplinary Study on the Environmental
Management, Planning and Risk Communication in Gold Rush Regions'.
