Partner Organisations

The Web site Natural Resources and Sustainable Development and the two sub-sites developed to date - Mineral Resources Forum (MRF) and Offshore Oil and Gas Environment Forum (OEF) - involve a number of institutions as managing partners. Each partner institution is responsible for managing a specific section or sections of the site, as indicated below.

The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) manages Natural Resources and Sustainable Development, as well as the MRF General Forum and some of the other sub-sections of the MRF.

The United Nations Environment Programme -  Division of Technology, Industry and Economics (UNEP DTIE) manages the MRF Environment, as well as the Offshore Oil and Gas Environment Forum (OEF).

The Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy (CEPMLP), at the University of Dundee, manages the MRF Law and Policy.

As the site is further developed, the number of partners will increase and a management consortium will be established to oversee site policy. In the meantime, institutions interested in contributing to the content and management of the site are invited to contact natural.resources@unctad.org.
